"Women I've Been"  is a solo gallery exhibition by Melike Vivastine Konur, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and curated by Jessica Gaynelle Moss of Sibyls Shrine in a work that transforms a lifetime of performance-based practices into a dynamic installation work enriched with experiential dimensions. Mirrors amplify stage lighting and expand the visual parameters, immersing visitors in an environment pulsating with ancestral veneration. The podium is designed with the golden ratio in mind and honors ancient rhythm in the unfurling of the divine harmonic cyclical performance. What if the act of mothering nurturing bringing life into worlds was considered as a form of intelligence?

Featured are vases in the evil eye blue hue that beckons the protective auras of Konur's Anatolian ancestry, while reflective pillars dance in an interplay of light and shadow vibrating movement as guests pass through the space. The kilim seating offers dialogue between Ottoman and Southern hospitality heritages, and is designed with levels and accessibility in mind. This  environment taps into both living and time-based arts, with each component crafted to be as functional as it is aesthetically engaging. Women I've Been is a versatile installation available for commission, offering opportunities for integration into diverse artistic and communal spaces.
